Description
The cozy living room of Ed and Mary Harvey, who have been married 45 years, and their daughter Angie, who fears the loneliness that may follow either parent's death. A car accident sends Ed into a coma and leaves Mary in a hospital, where she longs to die with him. Their plight is followed by the Gorman family's tragedy.
Ed and Mary Harvey have been married for 45 years and live in a comfortable home with their daughter Angie, who worries about being alone if her parents die. When a car crash puts Ed in a coma and lands Mary in the hospital, Mary wants to die alongside her husband. The story also follows the sad events that happen to the Gorman family.
Ed Harvey still can’t believe he’s alone after so many wonderful years with his late wife, Mary. Their daughter, Angie, and her husband, Tom, urge Ed to carry out his wife’s last request: to look for a new Mrs. Harvey. Ed agrees, and a computer dating service turns up a very mysterious candidate.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
