Description
Waiting out the passing storm a man and woman spend the afternoon in a odd house where they mysteriously find themselves falling in love.
A man and woman take shelter from a storm in a strange house, where they unexpectedly fall in love during the afternoon.
Caught in a frightening thunderstorm, a man and a woman leave their automobiles and meet in an abandoned yet well-kept house. Unsure of each other’s motives, they are drawn together when they hear the mewing of a white cat they soon discover is blind. Only when a man comes to feed the cat do they learn the astonishing yet compassionate story of why the animal has lost its sight and become the house’s only inhabitant.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
