Mirror for Murder
Description
A housewife gets fed up with taking care of pets and feeling ignored while her husband focuses on work. She begins listening to what she sees in the mirror and decides to take back control of her life.
When she sees herself disappearing and fading away every time she looks in a mirror, Helen Stuart, the neglected wife of a rising politician, goes off in a huff to a mountain resort. There she is approached by two men: a gangster and a federal agent after the gangster. Now important again, her mirror image becomes sharp and clear.
A bored wife is tired of her menagerie chores and her husband's job priorities. She starts to believe her mirror reflection and plans to reclaim her self.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
