Description
Ray Vance is so successful in infiltrating Big Joe’s East Side organization, he becomes heir apparent to Joe’s operation. The new apartment, salary and girlfriends reward Joe’s talent in his new role, and suddenly the dowdy lifestyle of a cop seems pretty dull in comparison.
Undercover cop Ray Vance becomes so immersed living his life as the heir apparent to Big Joe's East Side organization that he begins to dread going back to the boring life of a police officer.
Police detective Ray Vance goes undercover as the next leader of Big Joe's East Side gang, but he gets so caught up in the exciting criminal world that he starts to fear returning to his dull job as a regular cop.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
