Night of the Howling Dog

Description

A group of friends goes camping on an empty island with a preacher and his daughter, but they discover in terror that one of them is a werewolf.

A vacation group of five people on an island believed to be animal-free faces terror when one woman is attacked by an unknown creature. A psychic doctor is called to investigate and suggests the beast is actually one of them, a person suffering from lycanthropy.

While on a camping trip on a deserted island with a minister and his daughter, a group of friends are horrified to learn that a werewolf is among them.

Soon after two women and three men set up camp on the island which, they have been told, is free of wild animals, what they had hoped would be a pleasant vacation becomes a siege of terror when the younger of the two women is attacked by a strange beast. A renowned psychic doctor, called upon to help, terrifies the campers even more when he maintains the beast is really one of them, a person suffering from lycanthropy, the delusion that one has become a wolf.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
