Faye Colfax inherits her uncle Milo's antique shop when he is murdered during an apparent robbery attempt. Against the advice of her husband Brian, her uncle's friend, Mr. Miller, and her uncle's ghost, she decides to keep and run the shop.
When her Uncle Milo is murdered while tending his antique shop, Faye Colifax and the police assume the motive was robbery. However, Faye becomes suspicious when Carl Miller, the man who lives over the shop, offers to buy the building—at any price. When Uncle Milo’s ghost asks Faye not to sell, she decides to go ahead with her plans to keep the building and run the antique shop herself, even as Miller’s offer begins to sound more like a threat.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
