Description
A traveling salesman rescues a defeated woman whose spirit has been crushed by her wicked family members.
Lucy Stubbs has been worked so hard by her father and two brothers on their ranch that at first glance she looks like one of the boys, unless one could see that beneath the grime and worn clothes she was a truly pretty girl. But a peddler with a secret enters her life and unalterably changes it—along with his own—during the town’s biggest dance. He does it with a magic wand that packs bullets.
A demoralized and spiritually broken woman is liberated from the clutches of her evil kin by a traveling salesman.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
