Description
Frank Ellsworth, an ex-cop in charge of security for a large corporation, suspects trouble when he is introduced to Morton Sanford, the firm’s new efficiency expert: whom arrested years before for stealing, but Sanford’s money squelched the incident. Ellsworth isn’t surprised when Morton’s analysis finds his job superfluous. He is convinced Morton plans a major theft, but everyone thinks the old man is bitter over his forced retirement.
A young punk exacts revenge against the detective that had him arrested years before by having him fired. However, former cop turned security consultant has devised the perfect plan for payback.
A street thug gets back at the cop who busted him years ago by getting the detective kicked off the force. But the ex-police officer, now working as a security expert, comes up with the ultimate plan to get even.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
