Description
An aggressive young public servant aiming to become the state's next governor must cover up the suicide of a prostitute he was involved with before it ruins his political aspirations.
When a young woman accidentally shoots herself during a secret tryst with Congressman Bill Anderson, his campaign manager insists they make her death appear as if she were murdered by an unknown assailant. Unaware of what really happened, police sergeant Ben Kravic confides his findings in the case to hisclose friend, the congressman. Only after his leads begin disappearing doesKravic suspect that Anderson’s interest may be more than that of a concerned politician.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
