Second Sight

Description

A vagabond called Larry Millard is convicted of a murder he did not commit. He is embroiled in a diabolic scheme by businessman Glen Paxton who is going blind and covets Millard's eyes after the execution. But mysterious events start happening to Paxton after the success of his scheme, things he never planned for.

Larry Millard, a drifter with a police record, is found guilty of murdering a farmer who was, in reality, killed by respected businessman Glen Paxton. The farmer has refused to sell Paxton his land for a planned reservoir. On the eve of his execution Millard is asked if he wishes to donate any of his organs to science. Knowing that Paxton needs an eye transplant, Millard says he will gladly give him his eyes, anonymously, so that Paxton will be condemned to see for the rest of his life with eyes that know the truth about the murder.

A drifter named Larry Millard gets found guilty of a killing he didn't do. He gets caught up in an evil plan by business owner Glen Paxton, who is losing his sight and wants Millard's eyes after they put him to death. But strange things begin happening to Paxton once his plan works out, things he never expected.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
