Description
Reporter Felice Powers finds out she was adopted and desperately hunts for her real mother, uncovering hidden family truths and meeting a dangerous nightclub owner who has answers but worries about putting herself at risk.
When reporter Felice Powers obtains an interview with grand jury witness Jennie Carroll—a local bar owner—the talkative innkeeper unwittingly reveals that Felice was really born to one of her waitresses 26 years ago. Powers immediately takes up a new assignment: to discover her real parents.
When reporter Felice Powers learns she was adopted, she embarks on a frantic search for her birth mother, exposing family secrets and encountering an underworld nightclub matron who provides the clues but fears she may expose herself to danger.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
