Sleepy Village
Description
A university teacher and his wife move to Sleepy Village hoping for peace so he can complete his book. However, the townspeople must first determine whether the couple has the proper mindset before they can truly call the village home.
A college professor and his wife retire to Sleepy Village to find some peace and quiet so he can finish his book. But before they can settle down, the village inhabitants will test if they are in the 'right state of mind'.
Wilma and Ralph Albertson find a small New England village and decide to settle there, but are told the village fathers must approve. Ralph's suspicions are allayed by Wilma's love of the village, until the mayor's servant tells them all the residents are dead and they will also have to die if they want to stay.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
