Description
Marriage to a paranoid and possessive shrew makes life hell for a local businessman. When the woman is murdered, accounts of her jealous ravings make him the prime suspect in the crime, but he finds an ally in the strangest of places.
Will and Marcia Bennett, their high school’s handsomest pair, find their marriage near a breaking point. She accuses him of having an affair with his partner’s secretary and swears he will pay dearly for it. When Marcia suddenly dies, the coroner finds she had been poisoned, and Will is accused of her murder. But Sarah Lewis, the homely town librarian who has never forgotten that Will had asked her to dance at the senior prom, volunteers some evidence that could save Will’s life.
A local businessman's life becomes a nightmare when he marries a jealous and controlling woman. After she gets killed, her crazy accusations make everyone think he did it, but he gets unexpected help from someone he never saw coming.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
