Son of Satan

Description

A couple runs into an old buddy by chance. They find out he's using a different name now and has become part of a group that worships Satan. Even though he's gotten into this dark religion, they start hanging out with him again like before and even let him watch their baby!

A man and his wife come across an old friend in a stroke of luck. They soon discover that not only has he changed his name, but he actually joined a devil-worshipping cult as well. Despite his religious inclinations, they soon pick-up their old friendship to the extent of even trusting him to babysit their newborn child!

Tony and Ravena Marsh revive their old-time friendship with Sam (now Cato) Van Camp, with whom they once shared a beach house. They are startled by the change that has come over Cato, now a member of an exclusive sect, the Sons of Satan, dedicated to the gratification of the ego. They are even more startled at Cato's current project: the creation of an homunculus, a tiny artificial man who he hopes will someday rule the world.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
