Strange Passenger
Description
James Archer, a lawyer disappointed with his profession, accepts an invitation to move to a superior planet 500 million miles from earth. However, once there, he is unwillingly transformed into Stewart Murdock, a robot programmed to return to Earth as a political leader to soften the people for conquest by space creatures. Back home, Murdock is pursued by government agents who spot him near a UFO, become suspicious of his actions, and want to know who he really is.
In a desperate attempt to secure work, a lawyer knowingly goes off with aliens for training as a potential ruler of Earth. His widow strangely receives monthly checks from her supposedly deceased husband.
A jobless lawyer desperately agrees to leave with space creatures who want to train him to possibly rule the world. His wife keeps getting money sent to her each month from her husband who everyone thinks is dead.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
