Stranger from Nowhere

Description

A scientist meets a woman who says she's his missing wife, making him question who he really is and whether his strange idea that he's from another planet is true.

When he chances upon a woman claiming to be his long lost wife, a scientist begins to doubt his identity as well as his weird belief that he is actually an alien being.

For two years, Charley Robinson’s espionage on Earth for his planet, Tycho Brahe, has been extremely successful. But suddenly he is confronted by Mary, the wife of the real Charley Robinson, whose body the spy is using. Then a science-fiction writer—a former teacher of Mary’s—reveals on a television talk show the existence of Tycho Brahe, which he describes in detail in his new book. Charley knows he must act or his mission will be jeopardized.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
