Terror on the Heath
Description
Intrigued by a book on famous 19th century killers, Dave Matson becomes convinced he’s the reincarnation of one of them when he finds a daguerrotype which bears a striking resemblance to himself. Encouraged in his belief by Bob Ripple, an expert on the period, Matson fears he’ll revert to subconsciously motivated criminal behavior. Matson’s wife Jan asks Dr. Beckwith, an authority on reincarnation and the occult, to conduct an experiment to disprove her husband’s belief.
A young guy believes he's the reborn spirit of a murderer who was executed for killing people in the 1800s. He discovers an old picture of the killer at a local museum and meets a man who knows all about the historic crimes.
A young man thinks he is the incarnation of serial killer who was hanged for a series of murders in the 1800s. He finds an old photo of the killer in the public museum, and also a man well-versed in the history of the crimes.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
