Description

After his father dies of apparent cardiac arrest, Doug Cardwell opposes his mother and uncle's plan to sell the family business. When his father appears as a ghost and reveals his uncle smothered him, Doug and his fiancée use a play-within-a-play device from Shakespeare's Hamlet to make Uncle Stanley confess.

A modern-day take on Hamlet, finds the ghost of a murdered factory owner imploring his son to expose the lads faithless mother and greedy uncle for the murderers they are.

In this updated version of Hamlet, the spirit of a dead factory owner asks his son to reveal that his unfaithful mother and money-hungry uncle killed him.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
