Description
A wealthy young woman asks detective Sherlock Holmes to discover who murdered her sister in a locked room.
Sherlock Holmes is hired by a young heiress to find out who killed her sister in a sealed room murder.
Helen Stoner arouses Holmes and his associate, Dr. Watson, in the middle of the night. Trembling with fright, she tells them about the death of her twin sister, who was strangled in their stepfather's home. Holmes agrees to help Helen when she explains that, like her sister, she plans to get married and fears that her stepfather, who is subject to violent rages, will somehow try to stop the wedding from taking place.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
