The Avenging Shot of Kitty Morgan

Description

A woman takes a terrible vow to haunt the residence she made for her cheating beloved and all his sons and grandsons. In a couple of generations, she comes across the perfect chance to get the ultimate revenge.

Shortly after Kitty Morgan killed herself in the Chesny mansion nearly 100 years ago, her unfaithful lover, Robert Chesny, died there, his cause of death “unknown.” Since then the mansion has been vacant, because Kitty’s ghost is said to lurk there. Now, a century later, Robert Chesny’s great-grandson, Joseph, decides to transform the mansion into a resort hotel. He goes there unaware that Kitty’s ghost has vowed to murder any male descendant of Robert’s who enters the old mansion.

A woman makes a deadly promise to curse the home she built for her unfaithful lover and all his male descendants. After waiting through several generations, she finally finds the perfect opportunity to get her ultimate payback.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
