The Biggest Fish In The World

Description

A funny comedy about a woman who asks the police to help rescue her husband after he gets accidentally eaten by a whale at a theme park, but an animal lover gets in the way of saving him.

Digby Porcelain, whose occupation is even unknown to his wife Agatha, is swallowed by Spartacus, the prize catch of Agatha’s whale-loving society, the Cetaceans. Outraged when Agatha, their president, insists that Spartacus be sliced open, the Cetaceans launch a massive “Save Spartacus” campaign. Meanwhile, Digby secretly returns to Agatha to explain that his being swallowed by Spartacus was in the line of duty and why Spartacus must not be destroyed.

A delightful farce centered around a woman who tries to enlist the help of the police to save her husband who has been accidentally swallowed by a whale at an amusement park. But an animal rights enthusiast impedes this rescue effort.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
