A woman goes to her fiancé's home to meet him and his mom. She's shocked when nobody there knows who she is - not even the guy who proposed to her just two weeks ago.
A young lady travels to the house of her betrothed to meet him and his mother. She is stunned to find that no one in their house recognizes her - not even the man who asked for her hand two weeks back.
Amy Prentice met Jack Morton at a teachers conference. He asked her to marry him, but when she shows up at his home he denies it all, saying he’s an insurance salesman and already married. But Florence, his wife, becomes suspicious when Amy is able to describe in detail much of the Morton house, which she’s never seen, claiming Jack told her all about it. That night he slips into the guest room where Amy is sleeping. Right behind him is Florence.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
