Description

An unsuccessful actor uses disguise skills to cheat at poker games with wealthy men, until his brother exposes him—leading to his mysterious death.

A small-time actor becomes a deceiver when he uses his talents to dupe rich poker players. But he winds up dead in a railway compartment without a ticket. As Scotland Yard investigates the case, they receive a mail from a man involved in the crime detailing the murder.

A struggling actor turns into a con artist by using his acting skills to cheat wealthy card players. But he ends up murdered on a train without buying a ticket. When Scotland Yard looks into his death, they get a letter from someone connected to the crime explaining how the killing happened.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
