The Cantankerous Ghost

A headstrong ghost, Clayton Logan, finds he cannot rest in peace whenhe perceives that the old homestead has been run amok. The problem is that neither can anyone else when he decides to pitch in and get his relatives out of the jam. Notes: Said Himan Brown of Tammy Grimes: “She’s sensational. Two unmarried sisters avoid losing all their money when a movie director from Hollywood chooses their house to film his scary movie called Dreamhouse. During the making of the film, a dead family member's ghost starts bothering the actors and workers, so the sisters have to stop the spirit before more bad things happen.

A pair of spinster sisters is spared from certain bankruptcy when a Hollywood director decides to use their home as the set for his new horror movie, Dreamhouse. When the spirit of an old relative haunts the cast and crew during filming, the siblings must put a stop to it before things go further awry.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
