Description
Tish Meredith becomes a widow when her husband is hit by a drunken driver as he lifts her into his car outside the church. After being awarded $1 million by the drunken driver’s insurance company, Tish heads for New York and she is contacted by a Dr. Payitkrishna. He claims he can put Tish in touch with her dead husband if she will just give the $1 million to his Temple of Transcendent Truth.
Distraught and grieving, a widow falls prey to an unscrupulous occultist who swindles her into believing he can help her reach out to beyond the grave.
A heartbroken woman who lost her husband gets tricked by a dishonest fortune teller who cons her into thinking he can help her talk to the dead.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
