Roger Criswell has been waiting for years for his father-in-law, Lou Paradell, to die so he can inherit the lucrative Paradell Paint Company. After Paradell’s death, it doesn’t take very long for Criswell to ruin the flourishing enterprise. His only way out is to hire someone to blow up the paint factory. Criswell has no intention of being in his office when the big bang occurs, but the hired dynamiter is very secretive about his plans, much to Criswell’s consternation.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
