Description
Roland Laverne had power, wealth and the guardianship of his beautiful niece, Julia—everything a man could desire. However, when a romance between Julia and the Laverne’s chauffeur threatens to destroy Roland’s ideal world, he must use any means to eliminate the young intruder.
In early 1900s Louisiana, a man becomes dangerously obsessed with his niece who lives under his care. The family's driver also wants to win her love, creating a rivalry between the two men.
Set in Louisiana at the turn of the century, a man develops an unhealthy attraction to his niece and ward. Competition for her affections comes in the form of the family driver.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
