The Final Judgment
Description
Three merchants—Joseph, Abiel and Benjamin—returning together from Damascus to Jerusalem and afraid of being robbed, put their coins and jewels in a purse which they bury each night. One morning the purse is gone, and each swears he did not dig it up. King Solomon, Israel’s top dispenser of justice, has trouble determining who is guilty until he comes up with a ploy he’s certain will unmask the culprit.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
