Description
A Greek god named Dionysus shows up in today's world and wins over a married woman in a small town. Her husband invites his boss over for dinner to try to get a better job. Meanwhile, everyone in the neighborhood is talking about how amazing she is at growing flowers.
Mrs. Gretchen Morrison relaxes when the stranger who says he's the god Dionysus volunteers to make her dying flower garden flourish. He also changes her attitude toward life—much to the consternation of her husband, whose career depends upon a wife whose every move must meet standards set by his boss.
Dionysus, a god in Greek mythology appears in modern times and charms a young lady living in a suburb. Her husband brings his boss home so he can evaluate them for a promotion. Apart from this, the neighborhood is buzzing about her special talent with flowers.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
