Description

While on vacation in Italy, a widow falls for a vacationing widower from L.A. Problems arise when she discovers that he has not been honest with her as she packs his belongings in preparation for their trip back to the U.S.

Norma Davis, a widow for five years, meets a divorced American, Charley Wilson, in Florence. It’s a great day for both of them—they fall in love. As they head for home, intending to get married, she agrees to carry in her suitcase a music box he has bought for one of his children. At New York’s Kennedy Airport, a customs officer discovers the music box is filled with $1 million in heroin. When he does, Charley disappears and Norma is arrested.

A woman whose husband died meets a man from Los Angeles while both are on vacation in Italy. They fall in love, but trouble starts when she finds out he has been lying to her as she helps him pack for their return trip to America.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
