Description
When her husband dies unexpectedly, a queen loses her crown. Her people push her to fight back and get revenge. But she has to think carefully about what might happen and pick a path that will keep her people safe.
The sudden death of her husband robs a queen of her throne. She is urged to take up arms and seek vengeance by her people. However she must weigh out the consequences of her actions and choose a course that will safeguard the lives of her people.
Boadicea, queen of the Inceni centuries ago, was left half control of her husband’s kingdom upon his death. Nero, emperor of Rome, disregards the death-bed promise and seeks control of the entire British nation, unaware of the fact that Boadicea is willing to fight to the death for justice and vengeance.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
