The House on Chimney Pot Line
Description
A modern couple buy a home infamous for the disappearance of its former inhabitants. But a strange painting that seems to come to life on occasions starts to scare them too.
After ignoring the realtor’s warning and buying a house whose former occupants either completely disappeared or tried unsuccessfully to burn it down, Marian and Jim Sage begin to redecorate it. Their biggest mistake is to put a large photo mural of an African jungle scene on one wall. In it is a lion that one day leaps roaring from the photo while a telephone repairman is at work. Afterward, neither the Sages nor the police can find any trace of him.
A husband and wife purchase a house known for its missing previous owners. However, an odd artwork that appears to move sometimes begins to frighten them as well.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
