The Ides of March

Description

A woman frantically tries to stop her husband from going on his work trip after she sees him die in a dream.

A wife desperately attempts to get her husband to cancel his business trip when she foresees his death in a vision.

Cassandra Morrow has a vivid, detailed dream that the plane her husband, Ted, plans to take on an important business trip, March 12 to Chicago, will crash on takeoff and that he will die. Even when minor incidents early in her dream become realities, Ted insists they are merely coincidences and that he will go through with the trip. But then the police officer she met just before the takeoff in the dream—one T.J. Belden—is assigned to their precinct, four days before March 12.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
