Description
A woman with the ability to see the past tracks down her wandering boyfriend's movements after she breaks up with him, hoping to keep him alive.
In an attempt to save his life, a young woman uses the power of post-cognition to follow the actions of her itinerant lover after she calls ends their relationship.
Carl Ashton swears he’s been destroyed when Betsy refuses to go off to Europe with him in search of fame and fortune. Betsy is deeply hurt when he leaves her and becomes overwrought when she sees, in a series of visions, that he is carrying a gun and plans to use it on himself. Accompanied by a psychiatrist, her mother and a police sergeant, Betsy sets out to stop Carl, but wherever her visions lead them, they always arrive a few minutes too late.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
