Description
Wanda Beasley, late of Pulaski Pond, Arkansas, labored in the shipping department of a Southern California firm for just two weeks until Vice President Hartley Sanders, impressed by her innocent good looks, made her his receptionist. Eugene Harper also is taken by her sweet face. In fact, on their first date, a drive to Tiajuana, he insists that she take a special piòata across the American border.
After falling head-over-heels in love with a smooth-talking professional con man after moving to California, a plain Jane from Arkansas unknowingly smuggles diamonds across the border for him.
A simple woman from Arkansas moves to California and falls deeply in love with a charming criminal who tricks her into carrying stolen diamonds across state lines without her knowing it.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
