Description
During his trip through Europe, Twain meets a woman who begs the well-known writer to help free her husband from an asylum. The man was locked up because he said he had carved a famous old statue that people worship.
While traveling in Europe, Twain encounters a woman who implores the famous author to assist in obtaining the release of her husband from a mental institution. He was committed for claiming that he had been the sculpturer of an ancient and revered piece of art.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
