Description
“I was walking to my car,” Gail Howard tells the police. “A man came out of nowhere. He said, ‘Help me. I’ve been shot by the man in black.’ There was blood on his shirt. A couple of minutes later he was dead.” The police, after combing the area and finding no evidence of foul play, think Gail has an overactive imagination. They won’t listen to her, even after a man named Smith tells her she’s going to be the next victim of the man in black.
After witnessing a murder in an area surrounding the embassies in Washington, D.C., a woman is pitched into an international conspiracy as the police seek to solve the crime.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
