The Man Who Preyed on Widows

Description

When con artist Robert Lewis, also known as Nelson Potter, cheats widow Mrs. Randol out of her cash, she won't fight back even though her kids push her to act. Her angry family gets their revenge when they discover who his next target will be, and the cops create an elaborate trap to catch the clever crook.

Robert Lewis, alias Nelson Potter, has left the widowed Mrs. Randol with a few of her thousands in his pocket. She seems not the least upset because Lewis made her forget her unhappiness. But her children are not as acquiescent, demanding that he be put away for bigamy. When the identity of Lewis’ next victim is ascertained, the police make elaborate plans to close in on him.

After being swindled out of her money, the widowed Mrs. Randol refused to take action against Robert Lewis, aka Nelson Potter despite her children egging her on. Her frustrated family finds satisfaction when the identity of his next victim is revealed, and the police set up a grand scheme to entrap the wily con man.
