Description
In order to impress the woman he is enamored with, a young reporter fakes a UFO sighting. Real aliens show up when the incident becomes famous world-wide, and they are far from pleased with the situation.
A young newspaper writer lies about seeing a UFO to win over the girl he loves. When his fake story becomes famous around the world, actual aliens arrive and they are very angry about what he did.
Amos Jones, in love with the daughter of his newspaper’s publisher, Susan Bailey, concocts a story about UFO sightings to impress his boss, and therefore Susan. What he doesn’t count on is the elder Bailey’s enthusiasm. He orders Amos to man an all-night UFO watch, leaving Susan free to receive the attentions of Amos’s roommate, Jack.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
