The Midas of Castle Hill
Description
A young man teams up with a well-known French detective to find the treasure his wealthy father hid somewhere. Will finding the money fill the hole left by never winning his father's love?
A detective is offered half an inheritance if he can locate missing money. The millionaire father left a cryptic note indicating the funds were hidden between a couple of sheets in the library. While searching, the butler claims two men attacked him, but the detective suspects the butler's self-infliction may hold clues to the money's location.
In order to discover the whereabouts of the family fortune hidden away by his rich father, a son enlists the aid of a famed French detective. Can acquiring wealth make up for his father's approval?
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
