Description
Dr. Adam Parks, in Rome for a convention, tries to help a beautiful woman who appears ready to faint as they tour the catacombs. She hands him her business card, on the back of which is a message in Latin written with red ink. When he asks the manager of his hotel to translate it for him, Parks is ordered to leave the hotel—and Rome. When he returns to Long Island, his wife leaves him, as does the doctor with whom he shares his practice. He is even shot at by the local police. Does he have a severe case of the black plague?
A young doctor visiting Greece receives a card with Greek writing on it. When he asks people to translate the card for him, they discover an embarrassing secret about him that they must keep quiet.
On a trip to Greece, a young doctor is given a card with something written in Greek. When he attempts to get it deciphered by showing it to others, they get to know a dirty secret about him that they cannot divulge.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
