Description
A youth makes a Faustian bargain to retain eternal youth while his portrait ages, enabling him to live a depraved life without visible consequences. Adapted from Oscar Wilde 1891 novel.
A man trades his soul to the devil for the promise of staying young forever. As darkness takes over his heart, his painted picture transforms to show the monster he is turning into.
In exchange for eternal youth, a man makes a deal with the devil and gives up his soul. As he is consumed by evil, his portrait changes to mirror the abomination he has become.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
