The Return of Edward Blair
Description
One rainy night, a young drifter pounds on the door of a quiet ranch house, and t he answering servants, Andrew and Sarah, believe their master Edward Blair has come home at last. When Blair later is unable to understand the hostility with which his hometown greets him, Sarah begins to suspect that perhaps this man is not Blair at all. The real Blair might never have returned to Lost Cabin.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
