The Sealed Room Murder

Description

Angelus Doomdorf, a hostile and repugnant renegade from the Colonial wars who lives on a remote mountaintop with a young woman he constantly abuses, is found murdered by Judge Randolph and Sheriff Abner Gale. The two had to break through a door locked on the inside to get to Doomdorf's body. Once inside, they discover that the room's windows are also locked—on the inside. The question now facing them: How did the murderer manage to get out of the room?

When the town's most disagreeable resident becomes victim of a sealed room homicide, the local sheriff and the county clerk take on the onerous task of solving the crime. In order to find the murderer, they must dig deep into the psyche of the repulsive man.

The sheriff and county clerk must solve a locked-room murder when the town's most hated man turns up dead. To catch the killer, they have to dig into the twisted mind of the victim everyone despised.

CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
