Description
A Hawaiian banker is haunted by a vision of an open grave in an American cemetary. His new assistant's wife brings back painful memories for him.
A banker from Hawaii keeps seeing a disturbing vision of an empty grave in a cemetery in America. When his new helper's wife shows up, she makes him remember things from his past that hurt.
Gordon Davis, a successful banker, once gave up the love of a married woman, Helen Drumley, because he feared it would end his banking career. Now Davis is haunted by the memory of Helen, who died in Hawaii shortly after her husband and two daughters returned to the United States. When showing Helen’s grave to his new employee, Tony Blessing, Gordon is shocked to see a grave being dug nearby. When no one else sees it, Gordon begins to assume it is his grave.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
