The Sixth Commandment
Description
An older brother lusts after the younger brother's wife even as they all try to survive on a decrepit farm. He also hides a dark past.
A man wants his brother's wife while they struggle to make it on their broken-down farm, and he keeps a terrible secret from before.
Clem is furious when he learns that his deceased father has willed the family farm to his younger brother, Jody, always his father’s favorite. Clem figures the only way to get what is “rightfully” his is to murder Jody. When Jody returns from agricultural college with his new bride, Ginnie, Clem decides he wants her too. But Clem is so brutal in his approach that Ginnie starts thinking the only way to stop him is to somehow arrange his murder, maybe even doing it herself.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
