Description
James Madison Wilson is in shock: No one can tell him why he has been fired from Transcontinental, Inc. His wife Trudy urges him to simply find another job, but that makes him feel unfaithful to Transcontinental. He finally hits on a solution to his despair: to demand an accounting from the company chairman, Harold H. Hubbell.
A man is devastated when his years of loyalty toward his company are rewarded with an unexplained termination. When his wife must take on a job to make ends meet, his morale takes a further beating.
A loyal employee gets crushed when his company fires him without reason after years of dedicated service. His spirits sink even lower when his wife has to find work just to pay the bills.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
