The Song Of The Siren
Description
A man disappears in the desert for eight days, then turns up alive and mysteriously 125 pounds lighter. A small-town reporter digs into what really happened.
Reports of Professor Davis’ 125-pound weight loss and delirium during a desert expedition are too irresistible for Roy Rismond to ignore. The ambitious reporter decides to retrace the anthropologist’s desert mission, knowing only that Davis believes reptilian creatures of the Age of the Dinosaurs are still alive.
After having gone missing for eight days, a man is found in the desert seemingly healthy and miraculously weighing 125 pounds less than when he went in. A local journalist investigates the mystery.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
