Description
Against all warnings, Sir Mark marries the beautiful Melinda Melchior, daughter of alchemist Cadmus Melchior. Melinda extracts a solemn promise from Mark that she be his only love, in life as well as death—and Melinda soon meets her death. Although she continues to dominate his thoughts, Mark remarries and is happy until Melinda appears in a vision and commands him to obtain her father’s potion to bring her back to life. He foolishly agrees.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
