Description
A wealthy woman must face the truth about herself and her mistakes after her stepdaughter is killed. A police detective guides her through the process.
A blue-blooded lady is forced on a journey of self-discovery and culpability when her step-daughter ends up murdered. The police investigator helps her on her way.
Monica Wicklow’s dead body and handbag containing $5,000 in small bills are found in a slum area. Knowing that Monica had once been picked up for drug possession, Lt. Jerry Garfield presumes she was killed for pushing on someone’s turf. Unwilling to accept this, Monica’s stepmother decides to case the slum area herself, searching for witnesses. She soon thinks she’s found one: a girl who looks just like Monica and who is running for her life.
CBS Radio Mystery Theater is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply Radio Mystery Theater.
